Innovative Sarcoma Research

The survival rate of patients with osteosarcoma hovers around 70 percent. But the survival rate for patients whose disease recurs after initial treatment, especially if it metastasizes, is very poor. Willie ran out of treatment options. QuadW’s goal is to prevent this tragedy from happening to other sarcoma patients.

QuadW has chosen to concentrate in two areas with sarcoma research. One is to provide the infrastructure needed to expedite research, and the other is to encourage development of tomorrow’s leadership that will bring innovative thinking to advance the field.

Higher Education

Willie was only able to attend college for one semester, but even in that short time he developed an appreciation for the importance of higher education. Inspired by Willie, QuadW provides the means through scholarships for students to explore the world around them.
