This spring, QuadW joined forces with Owenwood Farm & Neighbor Space to bring the Dallas Symphony Orchestra’s Young Musicians Program to Far East Dallas. The program is for students in underrepresented communities and teaches music education, instruments, and performance, with an eye towards a career in the arts. In addition to career prospects, this incredible program promotes discipline, responsibility, and citizenship through 8+ hours of music and strings instruction per week. The Owenwood site opened in March and is funded by QuadW, Owenwood, and the DSO. Young Musicians Program Artistic Director Roberto Zambrano Leon joined us for a site visit, and we were blown away by his passion as well as the musicality of these students learned in a short amount of time!
